CALLING ALL ARTISTS!! This is a fantastic opportunity to place focus on the THE ARTISTS to be the official artist for the San Diego Fringe Festival (one of the largest performing arts events on the West Coast!!!
After a success run of the 2013 poster competition, we are again seeking a single design that will symbolize the San Diego Fringe Festival 2014. What we're looking for is a design that is so captivating, spectacular, gorgeous, capricious, thought provoking, & just plain purdy, that it will radiate cartoon-like waves of energy. The design should capture characteristics of San Diego (with theatre, performing arts, & creative arts in mind).
You can (but are not required to) include the words "San Diego Fringe Festival" as part of your design, but no other text, please. Be bold!! The design will appear in advertisements, print ads, and web ads. SO, it needs to grab the attention of people and hold their interest. Something "outside of the box." PREVIOUS WINNER click here
The design size of the file must not exceed 11"x 17". The design can be saved at a resolution that will enable us to zoom in to see details during judging. Designs may be in any medium. Multiple submissions are acceptable.
There is no entry fee.

The winner's name will appear on the poster and all other materials on which it is practicable to include credit to the winning artist. The winner will also receive a VIP FRINGE pass granting entry to all days of the Festival and complimentary tickets to the Fringe shows of choice.
The winner will receive copies of all Fringe paraphernalia and merchandise, including a t-shirt, featuring the design. Runner-ups will have their designs published on sdfringe.org.
